Set on the sixth floor of the Hotel Eden, a building constructed in 1889, and with the best view over the Eternal City, the restaurant "La Terrazza dell'Eden" is the meeting point for guests and VIPs of Italian and international society.
Piazza Venezia, Piazza Spagna, the Vatican, the Gianicolo, the Villa Borghese Gardens, Villa Medici and its surroundings... there is no bigger pleasure than paring up such a splendid spectacle with a sublime appeal to the taste buds genially carried out by the magic hands of our Chef, Adriano Cavagnini.
Arrived at the Eden on the 1st of September 2003 directly from Le Méridien Grosvenor House in London, where he has served guests of the calibre of Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, this brilliant, dynamic and talented chef offers us, on a daily basis, innovative ideas based on the traditional principles of the Mediterranean gastronomic art.
He acquired this passion from his ancestors, who founded a restaurant on Lake Garda in 1885. He studied at the Caterina de Medici Institute at Lake Garda and specialized in lacustral cuisine. He developed his professional career with experiences in Argentina, Brazil, England and Switzerland going on afterwards to work as sous chef at some of the major restaurants in Rome, London and Paris. He also actively participated in the creation of the new avant-garde cuisine at Harrods, personally taking care of the plates served to Mohamed Al Fayed's family.
